Library
School Library is the storehouse of knowledge and DPS Faridabad's Library is rich in books of various fields. The Library caters to the interests of the students and boasts of nearly 32000 books in the Sr.Library and 16000 books in Jr.Library. The students have a bar-coded identity card which gives them the right to issue books from the Library. Reference books, magazines and periodical publications are to be read in the Library only. Students issue books and increase their knowledge in various fields. The Library is not only well stocked but even fully computerized. The students are taught to respect the value of the books and abide by the rules of the Library. Activities related to reading and writing our periodically conducted to instill the habit of reading. The Library promotes spirit of inquiry, to value and preserve the rich heritage and also stresses towards excellence in all spheres of individual and collective activity so that students constantly rise to higher levels of endeavor and achievements.
Clinic
Regular Medical check up of students is done and a record is maintained. Parents are informed if the doctor finds that a child needs special medical attention. Thereafter the parents are expected to keep the school doctor informed about the action taken.
Parents are requested not to send a sick child to school to attend classes or to appear for examinations as the child's health is of prime importance.
The medical history of the student must be mentioned by the parents in the almanac. In case any child is on regular medication the details should be submitted to the class teacher and to the school doctor.
School Transport
The School owns 44 AC buses.
Students can avail the School Transport subject to the availability of seats. The routes of the school buses are drawn up and the parents should consult the school transport incharge for necessary details.
Solar Voltaic System
One solar voltaic plant of 201.96 Kwp has been installed on 1-12-16 to generate electricity directly from sunlight via an electronic process. This has helped the school save electricity. DPS Faridabad has set a pood example in terms of energy conservation.
